Works that induce a greater awareness of ourselves in the search for our identity.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has participated in three editions of the <em>Venice Biennale of Art<\/em>, with exhibitions and works in different parts of the world, including <em>Carrousel du Louvre<\/em> (Paris), <em>University of the Seraphicum<\/em> (Vatican), <em>GNAM<\/em> (Rome), <em>Expo 2015<\/em> (Milan), <em>World of Coca Cola<\/em> (Atlanta), <em>Officine della Scrittura<\/em> (Turin), <em>Museo del Parco<\/em> (Portofino), <em>Shoah Memorial<\/em> (Milan) and in galleries in <em>New York<\/em>, <em>Dubai<\/em>, <em>Saint Petersburg<\/em>, <em>Tel Aviv<\/em>, <em>Monte-Carlo<\/em>, <em>Lugano<\/em>, <em>Milan<\/em>, <em>Turin<\/em> and <em>Bologna<\/em>. In 2015 &#8220;<em>Coke Its Me<\/em>&#8221; (The Coca-Cola Company) and <em>Gigant <\/em>(SWC Alta Badia &#8211; Unesco Park Dolomites). In 2016 &#8220;<em>Aquamantio<\/em>&#8221; (MOSCA1916) in Biella.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2017 &#8220;<em>Il Cavallino<\/em>&#8221; (70th Anniversary Ferrari) and the awards at the <em>67th Sanremo Festival<\/em>, for <em>Star Team Monaco<\/em> (<em>S.A.S. Prince Albert II of Monaco<\/em>) and for <em>Inter FC<\/em>. In 2019 <em>Main Artist<\/em> at the <em>Teatro del Silenzio<\/em> by <em>Andrea Bocelli<\/em>, directed by <em>Luca Tommassini<\/em>. In 2020 continues the cooperation with <em>Andrea Bocelli<\/em>, and the monument &#8220;<em>Discrimine Momentum<\/em>&#8221; (African Fashion Gate) in Villafranca Verona. In 2021 the <em>VrummBangBull<\/em> project for <em>Tecnomar for Lamborgini 63<\/em>, the sculpture <em>Cristo Ritorto<\/em> on the main altar of the basilica during the <em>5th Centenary Coronation of the Madonna d&#8217;Oropa<\/em> and also a member of the board of <em>Biella Unesco Creative City Association<\/em>. You can find his works at <em>Artion Gallery<\/em>, <em>Galerie Sept,<\/em> <em>Simon Bart<\/em>, <em>Hysteria Art<\/em> and <em>Galleria Ferrero<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Over the years his career as case histories at the 24ORE Business School of Milan, at the University of Turin \/ Citt\u00e0 Studi Biella, and at the IT Sligo Ireland College.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><em><em>&#8220;In the eternal steel of my mirroring works we find our individual and cultural identity. We discover ourselves as protagonists and interpreters of the whole Humanity, which in the symbols reflects its messages and builds the future. We are free to choose and fly beyond all limits&#8221;<\/em><\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\"><\/meta><strong>Daniele Basso<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Poetic of Mirror Surfaces<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><em>Contemporaneity in Daniele Basso&#8217;s steel mirror works<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Mirror-polished surfaces: <\/strong><em>Looking at oneself in a mirror is an innate and ancestral gesture, between private and public, an act of self-awareness that has given rise to society. It is a metaphor I use for its strong communicative value, and to make everyone a part of the piece and its message.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Mirror is a simple object found in all cultures, unchanged over time yet&nbsp; rich in contents as well as symbolically and emotionally charged. It refers to our cultural identity, the focus on imagination in both industry and society, our ethics and responsibility in making our own future as we wish it to be. It is also a Made-in-Italy concept statement through Fashion and Design, a reflective tool for true reflection on beauty, Art and creativeness, essential qualities to make a better future, thus becoming an ideal instrument to overcome limits and cultural boundaries which dry up human relationships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are all the same in front of a mirror, driven towards an&nbsp; eerie unsubstantial dimension suspended between dream and reality, a metaphor of contemporary society confronted with its own wishes and seeking the new meaning of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stainless Steel: <\/strong>A virtually eternal material. Ethical, because it is eco-sustainable and can be recycled. Worked and polished entirely by hand, to confirm the necessary intellectual superiority of man over technology and machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Folds: <\/strong>A physical expression of change, the only true constant in life. Folds represent the experiences and choices we make and that define us. I use folds to describe and give shape to a subject in a way as unique as we all are. Thus,&nbsp; the many&nbsp; triangular surfaces that are generated, represent the innumerable faces of reality, which appears to be one, but is multifaceted\u2026 as is truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflecting Surfarces<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><em>\u201c&#8230;The mirrored surfaces of my works are space-time cracks where the soul of objects becomes a message. Beyond their tangible function, they are reflections about modernity, unfinished thoughts to be completed by finding our own meaning\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Light Sculptures<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><em>&#8220;&#8230;By describing individuals and objects via the folds of life running through them, they become both unique and iconic, an expression of a precise construction of the self, as we are before a mirror, where we take it upon ourselves to become protagonists\u2026 connected by our awareness that our happiness does not rely on events, yet our reaction to them!&#8221;<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Art\/Business\/Territory project<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><em><em>&#8220;Art in the interaction with Business and Territory (CSR policy) is a valuable strategic tool for communicating and building value, including economic. Bring Man and his well-being back to the center of the system. Transform the company&#8217;s impact on the territory and the community into an asset. Create symbols of individual and collective identity, which can be shared especially in the social \/ web dimension. Art impacts on Corporate Identity (Brand Perception) which acquires Value in the eyes of all stakeholders (Stakeholder Value) and Social Solidity in the market (Shared Value).
