Differenti Sensazioni 38° – Stagione 2025/2026 alle Officine CAOS
In the Vallette district of Turin, culture becomes a tool for community, inclusion, and social transformation. Officine CAOS is a cultural and civic hub that has been working for years to strengthen the social fabric of the neighborhood. Through workshops, educational activities, services for citizens, and participatory projects, Officine CAOS has created a place where art and everyday life intertwine, generating new opportunities for encounter and growth.
Its mission is clear: to give voice to a peripheral and underground culture. Peripheral, because it is able to create bonds and offer the neighborhood tangible value, building new audiences and attracting visitors from across the city. Underground, because it is attentive to the most radical and innovative artistic research, nourished by an international network that travels through festivals and meetings around the world.
Within this context, the Differenti Sensazioni 38° season begins, inaugurating the 2025/2026 program with a powerful preview: on Friday, November 21, at Officine CAOS, the Teatro del Lemming will present Attorno a Troia_troiane. Written, composed, and directed by Massimo Munaro, the performance places direct interaction with the audience at its core and revisits the myth of Troy as a mirror of the present, reflecting wars, migrations, and global crises.
Now in its 38th edition, the season reaffirms the vocation of Officine CAOS and the artistic direction of Gabriele Boccacini. From November 2025 to April 2026, audiences will experience performance art, contemporary dance, electronic music, new circus, prose, and physical and visual theatre, in a mosaic of national and international premieres featuring both established companies and new generations of artists.
The program will host renowned Italian groups, including Teatro del Lemming, Stalker Teatro (managers of CAOS), Cie Twain—an acclaimed dance and physical theatre company recognized at national and international festivals—and Frosini/Timpano, winners of numerous awards such as the Premio Scenario, Premio Dante Cappelletti, Premio Riccione – Franco Quadri, and the Premio Ubu for Best New Italian Play.
The international panorama will be enriched by emerging young companies already awarded at major European festivals, such as the French Cie Caravaggio, the Spanish Pies de Gallina, the Lithuanian Sixth, the Dutch Lunatics and Poets (featured at the Avignon Festival and Amsterdam’s Cinedans), the Swiss Framing Effekt, and the Chinese 3 Unknowns. Completing the program are established groups such as Ex Nihilo Dance, pioneers of site-specific dance internationally recognized for their research in urban spaces, and De Fracto, a French new circus collective acclaimed at European circus arts festivals.
Differenti Sensazioni thus confirms itself as a vibrant and dynamic laboratory, capable of attracting both local and city-wide audiences, consolidating the role of Officine CAOS as a cultural and social hub at the heart of Vallette. A season that goes beyond presenting performances, building community and offering the neighborhood and the city opportunities for encounter, knowledge, and transformation.
