PIES DE GALLINA is a journey along the subtle threshold between holding on and collapsing, between instinct and caution, between the shiver of goosebumps and the precision of “walking on eggshells.” The stage becomes a field of forces in which two performers continuously build and dismantle a shared body, exploring reciprocity as a form of resistance and delicacy as a space of power.
The work arises from the profound encounter between Ana F. Melero and Luna Sánchez, who weave sensitivity, listening, and risk into a dance that celebrates the paradox of being one in order to become two. Unstable balance, always on the verge of collapse, becomes poetic material: a physical dialogue that amplifies individuality through mutual support, transforming fragility into choreographic architecture.
The sound dimension, created by Xerach Peñate, accompanies and amplifies the emotional vibrations of the scene, while the voice of Lucía Bocanegra introduces an additional layer of intimacy and presence. The costumes, designed by the performers themselves, help define an essential and pulsating visual landscape in which every gesture resonates as an act of trust.
Supported by numerous institutions and international programs, PIES DE GALLINA has established itself as one of the most significant creations of the new Andalusian choreographic scene, capable of uniting rigor, sensitivity, and a profound attention to human relationships.
