The Officine CAOS season “Differenti Sensazioni – 38th edition” continues its journey through multidisciplinary arts by hosting Lumine, a live audiovisual experience that merges the legacy of Baroque art with the possibilities of electronic music and artificial intelligence. Lumine is an audiovisual performance in which images react to sound in real time, generating a performative environment in constant transformation. The stage becomes a living organism: every electronic impulse, every vocal gesture, every timbral variation produces an immediate visual response, creating a flow of metamorphoses that makes each performance unique and unrepeatable.
The project intertwines the elegance and complexity of Baroque aesthetics with the modernity of electronic music and sound design. The voices of Marta Cellini and Riccardo Ruggeri introduce a human and theatrical dimension, an emotional bridge between eras and languages, while Alessandro Artico’s vocal arrangements build harmonic architectures that evoke ancient polyphony and project it into a contemporary soundscape.
Oliviero Reviglio’s visualizations do not simply accompany the music: they interpret it, amplify it, transform it into light. Through the use of advanced technologies, including generative systems and artificial intelligence, the images behave like living matter, reacting to sound with patterns, vibrations, chiaroscuro effects and movements that recall Baroque theatricality in a digital key.
Simone Bosco’s electronic work guides the entire sonic ecosystem, blending textures, rhythms, synthetic landscapes and controlled improvisation. The result is a multisensory experience that invites the audience to immerse themselves in a fluid, contemplative and dynamic environment, where technology becomes a poetic extension and individual perception an integral part of the work.
Lumine is a project that breaks down the barriers between eras and styles, celebrating the beauty of the past and the innovation of the present. An invitation to explore new creative horizons through an artistic language that speaks to the heart and mind of today’s audience.
